Plot Twist. French president Macron has re-appointed Sébastien Lecornu, the man who quit as Prime Minister 12 hours into the job 4 days ago, as Prime Minister , again. No, this isn’t satire. This absurd situation is a sequel nobody asked for.

Interesting how the exact same garment sparked outrage & accusations of oppression/radicalization/provocation when worn by Muslim women. Yet, when stripped of the term burkini & reframed as a trend, it’s celebrated as stylish & a good way to avoid sun damage. The double standard couldn’t be clearer.
