Once again, l'm doing a winter reread of Susan Cooper's #TheDarkisRising. Like the story, we start on #Midwinter'sEve, following the story until reaching the final chapter on Twelfth night.
If you've not read it before, or if it's been a while, now is the perfect time to (re)discover the book.

Lovely winter walk on the beach this morning. Not for the first time was glad I had my #radarkey. It reminds me of Biff, Chip & Kipper’s #MagicKey - but instead of transporting me via a magical vortex, it helps avoid accidents and let’s me get out and about with less toilet anxiety. Magical indeed!

Tree’s Up, and so Evil Snowman is back in the house. Like me, he’s had a hard year, and is a bit worse for wear. Like me, his forties have not been kind to him. I’ve lost my hair a few times, and it looks like it won’t be long till he loses his hat!
