This got me thinking— in Measure of a Man, Riker turns off Data with rhetorical flourish to make him seem more robotic. How cool would it have been for Picard to Vulcan nerve pinch Riker for the same effect? Too bad (I think) this was before the Picard/Sarek mind meld.
