My husband read this at our wedding. It’s just so lovely.

We went so I could visit Lady Agnew. I unexpectedly saw it in Scotland, then had only seen the painting in books but had always loved it. It was one of my favorite parts of that trip to turn a corner and there she was. Now I look for his paintings on trips- Biltmore, Morgan Library in NYC…
