I'm not even criticizing the positions themselves. He's been decidedly left as Governor, leaving plenty of room for rightward movement and still staying in the realm of the reasonable. It's just... very noticeable.

You can also nest it inside another function like SUM to perform an aggregation on the result without putting the intermediate values in your spreadsheet!

I am also on board with making an exception for minors. They ought to have a higher degree of automatically protected privacy. It seems cruel to suddenly force a public profile upon them for this.

Does YouTube provide data on what percentage of viewers watch to different points in the video? (E.g. 95% watched to 10 seconds, 75% watched to 30 seconds, 50% watched to 2 minutes, etc.)

I also don't think we should be spending many more resources on solving this than any other. Around half of murders aren't solved, and we seem to be okay with that, I suppose.

Why are we spending so much money, time, and collective attention on figuring out this one?

I don't think it does make it less bad. We hate what he represents: callous indifference to the suffering of others in pursuit of wealth and power. His death will not eliminate that.

His wealth and his power from his position will not disappear, they will go to the next in line.

Could be it's this combination of things:

- He was wealthy and powerful. His violent and untimely demise feels like a disruption of the order of things. Government responds.

- He was in charge of something hated. We wonder if that makes it maybe just a little less bad. Culture responds.

"It's just a spider."

Dismisses concerns about the topic and suggests that there is some simpler view that is more favorable.

"You like it but I don't."

Suggests that the latter half has greater importance in a conflict with the former. It dismisses the first half. Using "and" allows the two ideas to coexist equally without conflict.

"You should do it like this."

Expressing an opinion or judgment without owning it as your own and instead presenting it as objective truth.

Please stop hitting on me so blatantly like this. Who told you how much I love eggs benedict?
