Australia’s social cohesion is gone. This morning’s Melbourne Synagogue fire is just an example of that.

Tributes have continued to flow for two Melbourne teenagers who died while holidaying in southeast Asia, after the death toll from a suspected methanol poisoning in Laos rose to six.
Holly Bowles, 19, died on Friday in a Bangkok hospital, one day after her best friend, Bianca Jones, also 19, died in another Thai hospital.

I’m really proud when I see more Western Brisbane residents install bushfire-prevention devices on their homes.
BCC and I organised a Bushfire Engagement Project last April, which is proving a great success in getting people aware of the danger that fires risk.

A swing towards the government is rare enough, but to unseat with a whopping 13% swing is just unheard of.

Today is the Black by-election (Division of Black - South Australia).
Held by the Liberals on a margin of ≈3%, you’d normally assume they are safe to retain the seat.
BUT; Premier Malinauskas remains incredibly popular. This therefore reduces the damages against the govt.
