Usually we get off early in years past the day before a holiday but we "have too much to do" today. Everyone I've talked to is burnt the fuck out, what kind of work are we getting done when we can't even think about it properly?

When I was a late teen, I used to draw whatever dumb shit that came to my mind. Somewhere along the way I didn't feel like it was worth it.
It's definitely worth the satisfaction of getting out of my brain and on paper/digital canvas, though. 😆

I watched the Cherry Magic anime, and I loved it so much I started the manga. God it's great, it's so romantic and at first I praised the world they had lived in because it seemingly lacked homophobia. And then it got a bit more realistic, which is fine, it's for the better (and makes drama).

I'm earmarking some specific manga panels I'd love to redraw with either my OTPs or my OCs. These won't be digital drawings, but physical ones for filling out my sketchbook - it seems like a fun idea and I need more excuses to draw more. Don't know if I'll share any of them, I might.

I don't know when I became so rigid about my OCs. Somewhere along the way I decided that "they can't be like this" or "they can't dress like that" because of some story-related reason or sometimes a skill issue. Screw it! Draw the OCs doing whatever, dressed however! Life is too short.

It's interesting that you can box up all your stress, worry, emotions for multiple days - and then when the need to do that is gone you're left with this aching, overwhelming tiredness over your entire body and you can practically feel the electricity in your nerves.

Today is the 50th anniversary of the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. I think people outside of Michigan have no fuckinh clue what that is, but the gales of November came early again on the 50th anniversary and that's some wild shit.
