Dad and I rarely talk about his team the Chiefs because I don’t football. But I have enjoyed getting his updates about the Taylor-Travis romance. Today the tables have turned and I got to deliver news first.

Last night when I pulled into my driveway I saw a little green tree frog clinging to the side of my fence. He froze in the headlights long enough for me to get a photo. Then today I saw a tiny lizard hide in a patch of clover. He thought he was well hidden, but just look at that cutie. 💚💚💚

My Google Fiber has gone out 3 days in a row because of “cut lines” & I’m gonna need folks to 1/ stop cutting lines & 2/ stop asking me to fill out satisfaction surveys after I call to report the outage. 🙃

Lovely rainy Raleigh day for a Nordictrack hike through Scotland. The cat only pulled the emergency plug 5 times and turned up the intensity level to 12 once. 🤘😝

Last weekend I went to Pittsburgh for the first time. Loved the architecture, history, bridges, food, hospitality, and overall vibe. 👍👍 It’s a charming city with fabulously rough edges.

I spent the past week in Kansas City to celebrate the adoption of my sister’s foster son, who has lived with her since he was born 2+ years ago. You’ve never seen a man proudly switch to wearing “dad shoes” as fast as my brother-in-law made the switch. My heart is full. 🥰

I’m at the car dealership & I do not understand how there are this many hours of tv about what’s in people’s storage units. It’s on every day, all day here. Who watches this in purpose?! Oh wait… now they’ve discovered a perfect set of vintage atomic dishes & now I need to see what they find next.
