Just because a character is kind and naive, that does not mean they are stupid or oblivious.
It's such a pet peeve of mine when ppl in fandoms or worse of all professional writers / creators get this type of thing confused and ruin characters.

The drive to improve is what actually makes you improve, it takes time and effort with struggles along the way. If it feels like nothing works, take a break and try again. Remember that the only thing that will stop you, is you giving up.
