Local media is calling it: Katie Wilson will be the next mayor of Seattle.

Wilson ousts Mayor Bruce Harrell after running as a progressive challenger.

Her win is a west coast companion to Mamdani’s as a statement victory for the left.

John Fetterman, Angus King, Maggie Hassan, Dick Durbin, Jon Ossoff, Jeanne Shaheen, Kirsten Gillibrand, Catherine Cortez Masto, Mark Warner, Cory Booker, and of course Chuck Schumer. Maybe others not top of mind. Not all responsible will publicly vote for the cave - that's not how this works.

I have never seen an American President so desperate to force children and seniors to go hungry.

Donald Trump is appealing a federal court's order requiring him to pay the full SNAP benefits for this month.

This is as ugly and cruel as it gets.

Things to consider:

Document the violence & violations--on camera, w/photos, saving images--any way you can. Speaking as a historian- it will matter

Point out violations--w/images & text--even if you think it won't matter. It will. It needs to be called out & exposed

You are a witness.
Expose it.

Another 50,000 ballots as we're starting to see the finish line.

And the margin barely changed: 43.8% to 35.8%.

Mamdani has actually increased his lead a bit in the latest update, to 8.3%.

That's roughly 826K ballots... roughly 75% of the expected vote.

Mamdani leads Cuomo 43.9% to 35.7%.

Already another 80,000 ballots from my post 3 minutes ago!

Now we're at 667K ballots.... likely nearly two-thirds of the total vote. Mamdani *increased* his first-round lead, now to 8.4%.

Now we're at:
—Mamdani: 43.8%
—Cuomo: 35.5%
—Lander: 11.9%
—Adams: 4.1%
We already have an additional 90,000 ballots from my post two minutes ago.

We're already at 580K ballots! That ought to be roughly half of the vote.

The margin remains 8% in Mamdani's favor:
—Mamdani: 43.4%
—Cuomo: 35.4%
—Lander: 12.1%
—Adams 4.2%
Roughly 80,000 ballots were added to the NYC count. That's narrowed the gap somewhat, from 9% to 8%.

We're now up to 491K ballots counted.

What we have now:
—Mamdani: 43.0%
—Cuomo: 35.2%
—Lander: 12.4%
—Adams: 4.3%
Everyone else under 2%.

These are the proactive steps states need to be taking right now. Another thing: every Democratic governor needs to have a sit-down now with the state adjutant general to carefully review that person's understanding of their responsibilities to their state, its citizens and the federal constitution.
Washington just took the reasonable step of not allowing the National Guard of other states to operate here without our agreement. It’s not the Guard personnel we are concerned about, it’s other governors in the Trump cult. katu.com/news/local/g...
