My one constructive criticism on BlueSky, as a community: we need to “like” less and “retweet” more. In the absence of an algorithm, that’s the way we find each other and reward good content.

Solidarity with Canada Post Workers. They should not be ordered back to work. This undermines the collective bargaining process. Canada Post Corporation bargains in bad faith and wants to break the union. Pay the workers fairly.

Why are we so eager to build the next TikTok clone for billionaires to sell us out—again? Neptune sounds great, but it’s the same Meta playbook. We need a TikTok alternative for us, not to line pockets. Let’s stop chasing billionaires and start building platforms we actually own.
