Among them was prominent journalist Anas Al-Sharif, who had been previously smeared and threatened by the IDF.

ICE operations at immigration courts intensified today. Brief 🧵on what's happening:

- A person facing removal shows up for a hearing.
- At the hearing, ICE unexpectedly asks the immigration judge to dismiss the case without prejudice.
- If the judge says yes, the hearing ends, court is over.

Another report, this one out of Arizona, of people showing up for scheduled immigration court hearings and being detained by federal agents.

They've abandoned any pretense of going after the criminal element first. Now everyone is fair game.
They showed up to immigration court in Phoenix. Then ICE agents surrounded them
"I've never seen action like today ever,” attorney Eugene Delgado said. “This hasn't been the normal practice in Phoenix at all.”

There is a reason why working families are falling further and further behind.

The cost of housing, health care and other basic necessities are rising much faster than wages.

ICE dragged a mother from her home in Massachusetts—clinging to her baby—without showing a warrant or ID.

When neighbors demanded proof, ICE sneered, “We don’t have to show you anything.”

That’s not law enforcement. That’s state-sponsored kidnapping.
This is fascism & it’s terrifying.

Small acts of defiance. I don’t recommend this to everyone, but I’m lucky enough I can afford to get rid of my Tesla.
