How much you wanna bet Dana White paid Glenn Beck to run this on his website. Or, owns a piece of his web site.

By the way: did you know that Dana White is SHOCKED, SHOCKED to find gambling in his sport.

Chicago welcomes migrants. Sorry, MAGA.

The kidnapping was Wednesday morning. A thousand neighbors rallied in solidarity Wednesday night. That's how mobilized Chicago is.

We shall overcome.

Congratulations to my friends in New York. Now can we please shift the focus to Chicago? (These items are all from today.)

Something for the history books, billionairws advocating "working well" with the dictator.

In honor of the dearly departed, a preview from Chapter Two ("The 9/11 Lobotomy") my forthcoming (hopefully in a year) book THE INFERNAL TRIANGLE: HOW AMERICA GOT THIS WAY.

ICE has been staging in this parking lot. Local patrolers called an impromptu protest. Thousands of honking cars affirm to neighbors that the invasion cannot stand. Dozens getting to know each other, exchanging tips on identifying ICE cars to stop the next kidnapping, etc. Little things help.

Impressive propaganda, this framing. Another word for "fantasy" is VISION. Without which, I've heard it said, the people perish. And besides, it's only fantasy if you can't imagine or accept a fairer system of taxation.

What is this gesture Bovino gave on his way out of the courtroom flaunting his sidearm?

This part of the Washington Post subscriber survey looks for all the world to me like an attempt to see how wingnutty they can get without losing profit.

There is now something called "Grokipedia." This is from the entry on me. I have never written a single word on T.S. Eliot in my life.

The bottom line, and what I'm getting at, is that the price of admission to the Republican Party today is lying in the service of the dictator, like something out of Orwell's 1984; in this case, lying about the past.

Here's the rest of the doc for those who are interested.

It eventually become NAFTA. The historical irony: the deal Clinton signed had nothing about "peoples" flowing more freely, just money. As I explain in REAGANLAND, in direct contradiction to the Reagan Foundation's lies, what Reagan himself called "open borders" was central to his's moral vision.

Let's talk about the grotesque Führerprinzip sweeping Republican institutions. With receipts.

This is one of my favorite documents from the Reagan Library: a White Paper prepared for him that led up to one of the ideas he was most impassioned about, a "North American Free Trade Area."... 1/x

There is no journalistic task more imperative than getting eyes inside this process. The kind of thing historians wait for archives of dictatorships to open, when figuring out how the REAL nightmare begin.
