I'm drawing a lot of WereGuarurmon lately, and I have to say something nice about the Digimon Adventure Reboot: it hadn't worse animation, quite the opposite. It just jumped ahead to the high evolutions, and it made you notice how some of them can look very derpy on a normal animation budget.

I have developed this concept of the "Sloppy Valley", that phenomenon of warm-up doodles performing better than art that took a day to make. Obviously, a few variants have to be taken into account, like composition, characters, kinks involved and such. But this is a simplification.
