The Australian Government gives most of the gas exported from Australia by foreign-owned gas corporations for free.
They pay no royalties.
The gas industry is ripping Australians off, and our governments are letting them.

Kiwis are brave enough to ban greyhound racing. Why aren’t we?
The NSW government tried to ban greyhound racing, but backed down. Now New Zealand have made the decision.

When a packet of B&H 25’s cost $63 ….
And a pack of Double Happiness or Marlboro Gold is $12
Well, that’s why there is such a lucrative black market.
Maybe the Govt should tax the Gas miners instead of relying on consumption taxes.
