Holidays or not, don’t give up your life for a family that can’t even see who you are and never will. A corrupt family system will eat you alive no matter how much you try to keep silent and appease it.

When a man tells you he's in trouble, listen. Many men won't speak up until they're near the end of their rope. Engage patiently with authentic curiosity and find out what's going on. Indifference or attacks on his character when he's raw and vulnerable can send him spiraling downward.

I'm contacted regularly by bright articulate young guys (20s-30s) w/no job, no profession, no car, flat broke, never had a girlfriend, often still living w/parents. They feel lost, desperate, have no support.
