We also need more justices on the Supreme Court. We have too few people at the tippy-top deciding things for an entire nation.

I'm not arguing with you. 🙂 Impeachment is definitely in order. You just got me thinking and I went through some mental gymnastics. All good .. I need the exercise.

What we need are the voters to show up. This whole mess was caused by that. How the hell did we have two Obama administrations by popular vote and still end up with this shit? Where did those voters go? We need control of Congress and we need new laws to clarify/limit the powers of the Executive.

I don't think cutting off the head of a damned long snake will be enough. It would be historic but also effectively a protest action because we end up with Vance as President. Impeach/convict Vance as well and we either get the next MAGA in line or a Democrat-controlled Senate holds up succession.

An impeachment could happen, but a conviction in the Senate will not. That’s not a reason not to do it, though.

I feel your angst, I really do. Things in the House are so very close, though. There are 2 seats in Florida that *could* flip in April and the Rs would lose the House, that's how close it is. I think it's too early to call the mid-terms.

In the end, it's the voters. People need to show up and vote.

That man was one of a kind. Some jokes only worked when he told them. His appearance in Beverly Hills Cop is one of my favorite comedic performances and all too brief.

I’ve had to step away from social media and the news from time to time, then battle guilt for not doing more.

There’s only so much we can do, but the most important things we can do is exercise our First Amendment right to be noisy. And vote.
