I love the movable keys too - similar to “solution to the puzzle is whatever the party tries after several failures” because the dm is done wasting time lol

Exactly. If i give the players a choice say two paths i do my best to have something planned for each path but sometimes i mess up, describe two paths when I didn’t mean to, and that’s when the quantum ogre comes into play.

As a player I have seen other players ask for the impossible but usually is actually something silly.
The usual impossible request I get is for a player to hide in an area where there is nothing to hide behind, no shadows etc. i just explain there’s no place to hide and I don’t have them roll

List looks pretty good. Only call for a roll if you as the DM are ready to deal with success or failure. Don’t roll for the impossible (king will never give up crown etc). DMs ask for too many rolls.

My best video to date is about quantum ogres and if they are considered railroading - basically no for a one-shot, possibly if used during a normal session

I don’t think they will have all tables in each episode (say 1 1/2 hours each) but who knows. All depends on who is in studio when they record. I bet the tables were partially determined by availability of the players

That’s how it will be but more like (my guess) a couple episodes with each table and at times there will be some mixing happening depending on story. Each group will be following their own clues etc but all working towards one overarching goal

I talk about this in the videos leading up to the campaign start. Basically its a lot of people and there is no set lineup (people come and go). In this case there are 13 people so you have different groups at the table at different times & eventually the 13 will be broken up into “smaller” tables

Definitely going to be interesting going forward!
