I vow each day to view my family, my colleagues, my work, my neighbors, my community and country through his eyes. What can I do each day to leave my Grandson a better place with more kindness, peace and opportunity than we have experienced? I want to leave no greater gift!

There will come a time, as in the droughts of the old West, when many of our neighbors will realize that they "were taken" by the facade of the rainmaker. That his promise was driven only by greed. That is when we must hold the door open to their return...Hope the Bsky community can be that place.

It's pretty simple really. Leaders either tap into the positive dreams and aspirations of their followers/team members OR they tap and exploit their followers fears, anger and anxiety...Always with tragic results.

"You can't do much about the past." True, until you suddenly come to realize that it really was 'you' that created your life to-date. The real question then, who will create "your tomorrow?"

When confronted w deep division, truly great leaders know that to choose sides is the same as putting your kayak in the river and paddling madly upstream. We must show the that there is a much easier way downstream. With division, there is simply no progress upstream.

Here's the fundamental truth. If Any job or task in the organization is beneath you...then leadership is not for you. Your diploma comes from a school or university. Your leadership and credibility comes on the end of a broom or shovel!

Strive always to make your footprint so large and your influence so impactful, that both will be easily recognizable to future generations. #impact #footprint

"When you were my age, was the country this divided?" my Grandson asked. Yes, I replied, we were divided into two distinct groups; family and neighbors. "That must have been a long time ago!" he remarked. Actually, I replied, it was only a moment ago...we need only to remember.
