I have confirmed reports that Blue Jays fans have been donating to children’s hospitals and charitable orgs in Seattle as a gesture of goodwill after the Blue Jays beat the Mariners in game seven, which is the most Canadian thing I’ve ever heard

Very saddened to hear about Ken Dryden’s passing. Incredible human, I thought he would make an excellent NHL Commissioner. Unfortunately, he got pushed out by the knuckle draggers. He brought the Leafs back from the abyss post Ballard. Superb author, athlete, public servant. Rest in Peace.

@dfeschuk.bsky.social good point on JT contract, re tax deferral, etc. Also, being paid in USD and living in Cda is a huge cost of living advantage.

@leafer1984.bsky.social and another. Plus he got back and broke up a great shorhanded chance by the Sens. His hustle to hop on the bench in OT saved an offiside and then Conn Smythe Benny won it on the next play.
