I’m pleased that I’m not the only person who thought Severn Trent’s bill increase was higher than the widely reported 36%. Water suppliers, again, benefiting from holding a monopoly over the regions they each serve; this needs to change.

On the same day that the new train completed a full loop of the Yellow Line in passenger service/on full timetable, the system became divided. I hope it’s not an omen. :-(
