I obviously follow the Nuggets more closely than any other team, but don't remember ever being as impressed with Hardaway as I am now.

Election nights as both a journo and staffer did the unthinkable - made me less appreciative of pizza. Fortunately, I can tolerate it again. It grows back with time.

What impressed me most was not the shot, it was how low he got with his dribble to get sort of open in the first place.

I got a haircut a few years back and told the hairdresser I was worried about starting to look too much like Steve Bannon. She had no idea who that was and worse - why the hairstyle was so concerning. I've lived in political geek-world for decades but it's not as well-populated as we might think.

Or, and hear me out, this year's Nuggets were supposed to have "depth." Even the best conditioned players can play harder and be fresher at 30-35 minutes than 40+. This is not to mention the wear and tear of a long season. Use that depth!!!
