At the Cormorant in Newburyport, I tried their Bourbon Cream Soda ($10), a simple cream soda, bourbon and bitters. And I was impressed! Refreshing, tasty, and not overly sweet. A great summer drink, and now I'll have to make it at home.

This weekend, for my Birthday, I'll be opening this unique Palo Cortado Sherry, which is an average age of 130-150 years old. It helps you feel young when you can open a wine that is older than you. Or even two to three times older than you. #wine

Wow! The Coconut Cream Pie from Nancy's Marshview Cafe in Salisbury was amazing! Lots of coconut in the filling, a light, creamy whipped cream topping, and a flaky pie crust. Can’t wait to try some of their other pies too.

Tonight, I’m enjoying the 2018 Achados e Perdidos Lost and Found 28 Uvas. This Portuguese red wine is a field blend of 28 grapes, from old vines. #wine

Today was my first visit this year to the Clam Box of Ipswich. Fried Lobster Tails (seven half tail pieces) with onion rings and fries. Plus an order of Native Clams. Absolutely delicious, as usual. It remains my Favorite Clam Shack. And the service is always excellent too.

The Coconut Cream Pie ($30), home-made from the Agawam Diner, is impressive! It's quite large, with a mound of creamy, whipped topping. The custard is creamy and tasty, with a crispy pie shell and a fine coconut flavor.
