Saw recently that Protomartyr are working on new material with super-producer Dave Fridman. Compelled me to revisit this unsung modern Post Punk classic, their 3rd lp, 2015's The Agent Intellect. Perfect damn album. It sounds like if Joy Division were on SST.

I love this song so much. The tasteful snare hits paired with the down strummed overdriven and slightly 'verbed gtr was so ahead of its time. This came out in 1986!

I'm not a religious or spiritual person at all, but some of the rhetoric dribbled from the mouths of these AI tech bro weirdos (Peter Thiel, Sam Bankman-Fried et al) has me convinced that all of these bozos might be the collective anti-christ. Watch them speak. That's not neurodivergence. It's evil.
