I write code, DM for friends, and make games (Godot obsessed atm). Also down to talk improv and standup!

My passion could change tomorrow, and that's the way I like it. For now.

Trying to be relatable is a trap.

Random #gamedesign thought about the morality of cannon-fodder species like orcs:

To me this is a symptom of tabletop storytelling being part narrative and part game. There's an eternal conflict between the two that's difficult to overcome...

So many people have re-specced out of the "Reasonable Person" skill tree these days.

I encourage everyone to refresh themselves on which freedoms the #firstamendment actually protects, and which it doesn't. To anyone familiar, it should be crystal clear how out of line the current administration has been.

Do I think that the assassination was an extremist and overly violent reaction? Yes.

Do I also think that both the world and his family are better off without him? Yes.

These two thoughts can coexist.

Just saw #somethingrotten at the #boiselittlrtheatre and it was wonderful! Going into it I only knew about the "a musical" song, and I was pleasantly surprised by all the rest.

There are no #stories in the reality of this world. They are all #fictional, invented. The actual world around you has no #characters, main or otherwise. There are no arcs, no beats, no hero journeys. We are just animals doing our best. So drop your #ego, and give yourself a god damn break.

Truly horrifying. This is the next step in this admin's strategy to worsen education. This kind of strategy makes it harder and harder over time for us to fight back. Knowledge is power - and our younger generations will need as much of it as possible for the coming war. thehill.com/blogs/in-the...

#Blindboxes are consumerist nonsense. I don't see enough people talking about the amount of waste they create, or about how they are manipulative gambling money pits. Too many collectors giving these a pass just because they fill their shelves with colorful plastic in the shape of things they like.

I'm finally letting go of my #perfectionism enough to really enjoy my latest playthrough of #baldursgate3! Having some #dice available next to me really helps when I'm stuck between a couple of equally desirable options.

#mathematics is the subjective language that #humanity develops in an attempt to describe an objective #reality which inherently cannot be proven to exist.

At first I thought #godot metadata was not that useful, since it's a bunch of magic numbers and strings. BUT you can use enums instead and assign them in your #gdscript! This is so helpful for determining types of colliders on collisions and raycasts.

I've been making a game as I have fallen prey to the "Indie Game Streamer tries to make a game" pipeline.

ZERO experience, learning with a combo of tutorials and AI + chat.

It's been extremely fun and addictive.

I'm making "Exiled Guild Manager" - ARPG inspired guild management sim.

It was a pleasure to go to the Bernie Sanders rally in Boise, Idaho. The turnout was incredible, and for a moment it really felt like there may be some hope left for this state.

The economy could be being tanked on purpose, to starve out small businesses. The billionaires on Trump's side could be accepting these as temporary losses that they know they can ultimately survive. Afterwards, they will be the only ones left to pick up the pieces. #tariffs #economy #oligarchy
