The 2020 CASTLE FREAK remake is interesting. While a lot of horror films have two great early acts and fall apart in the third, CASTLE FREAK is the opposite. It gets stronger through acts one and two and goes completely batshit crazy in act three, which is how I like my horror.

Teen Vogue did some terrific work. Great story here on Teen Vogue and how the Vogue/Conde Nast bosses seem like the "liberal" types who have been eager to use Trump's rise as a pretext to silence progressives/leftists they disagree with. www.cjr.org/feature/the-...
What the closure of Teen Vogue means for journalism.
Condé Nast folded a beloved magazine that treated youth and feminism as political topics, not trends.

I just bought a new bookshelf because my DVD/Blu-Ray collection outgrew the old one. I also considering more shelves for books because they're stacked alarmingly high on the current ones. As the kids say, sorry not sorry.

I have a slight cat allergy. It doesn't knock me, but when it hits I can get the sniffles all day and night. On a friend's recommendation, I bought an air purifier and, while it hasn't solved the problem, it's made a huge difference. If you're sneezing too, maybe give it a try. Mine was under $100.

This is all I think about now, whenever I hear about the validity (or lack thereof) of polygraph testing:

This may be Trump's perfect social media post. A true work of art. He confirms:

✅He personally directs criminal investigations.
✅He is targeting opponents.
✅Epstein "records" exist and he knows the contents.

Bonus points for connecting it to investigation of his fondness for Putin.👀

Let me know your thoughts on The Running Man. While I generally like Edgar Wright's work, I thought the trailer was wildly unimpressive. Thanks.

Does Edgar Wright's new take on The Running Man have any post-credits scenes worth sticking around for? https://bit.ly/4oebQF3

I was given two polygraph tests, lied my ass off on both, and passed easily. Polygraphs are snake oil bullshit machines sold to dummies because they they look neat in movies. You don't have to believe me on this. Ask anyone who works in security and they'll tell you the same thing.

The population of the US is 343 million. So, according to JD Vance, almost 10% of the country's entire population is a secret horde of ferocious alien house flippers. That sounds totally legit and not at all made up.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."
