„Quiet, Piggy!“ Just think about that for a minute, and what it means to live in a time when a President can assault a woman in public like that without any consequences.
It‘s quite a testimony to the age of regression we live in.

Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.

My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.

Farage can now be easily boxed in to a corner where his only ‘defence’ becomes: “Yes I spouted Kremlin propaganda & Putin worship but, unlike Nathan Gill, I didn’t need bribes to do it.”
It is, once again, a question of whether interviewers have the temerity to shut down his whining obfuscations.

Mamdani's message to Trump 👏

"If anyone can show a nation betrayed by Trump how to defeat him, it's the city that gave rise to him."

'New York will remain a city of immigrants, a city built by immigrants, and as of tonight, led by an immigrant."

Good grief. Those exaggerated turns to the woman sitting next to him. Farage at his most reptilian.
Mari Novik, FT, "When did you two first get to know each other?"

Nigel Farage "No"

Turning to Ellie-Ann Reynolds he says, "Let's keep our personal life out of this.. Sorry, got to have some fun doing it"

Nigel Farage, 3rd September to U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee

● "Free speech is under assault in Britain."

● Free speech laws are "a sledgehammer that misses the nut" because they censor opinion.

●"At what point did we become North Korea?" He asked.

Nigel Farage doesn’t think the Prime Minister should have free speech in this country. But he’ll tell foreigners that yours is somehow under threat from the Prime Minister. He’s a whiny little liar. Always has been. Always will be.

Yesterday, the largest far-right protest in UK history marched through London, led by racist Tommy Robinson.

Today, we say: They don’t speak for us — and they won’t have the last word.

This Wednesday we come together against Trump and for a better future. Do everything to be there.

That’s why City Hall is funding grassroots groups to challenge hate and extremism, helping to keep our city united, safe and welcoming for all. www.bbc.com/news/article...

Everyone needs to watch this. Warning - it is very distressing, so much so that it brought me to tears. But it is essential viewing to understand the actions of the IDF in Gaza, with evidence of them operating outside the international rules of warfare.

The men who claim they focus on Pakistani rapists because they “care” about women are the same men who revere Trump, defend Russell Brand and praise the Tates.

The issue is men.

Not one singular culture, religion or race weaponised for political clout.

Men.

Most exoplanet astronomers are extremely sceptical about these claims, let's see why (1/n).
