His h-index is quite poor relative to other scholars. I don’t think he can really expect full tenure this time around. I think he needs mentoring from more experienced researchers to help him improve his impact across a range of key indicators. Perhaps Dr Ionnadis might step in?

Wonderful talk today at the centre for humanities & social sciences of CSIC in Madrid by Jose Manuel Naredo, a pioneer of ecological economics, certainly up there with Constanza and Daly, but less well known in the Anglo world as he publishes in Spanish.
