This is (IMO) THEEEE hardest division in Baseball to predict this season by quite a bit (much more so than NL central i think).

I truly don't know if this is a hot take or not because Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind really isnt a Spielberg movie that has permeated through to my generationas much as others so there isn't a ton of discourse on it, BUT

As irrational as it may be, I think truly my *LEAST* favorite thing about the ESPN broadcasts is that they continually use god damn Buggle as Iowa State's secondary logo! It drives me crazy! (the logo's existence also just plainly makes me ticked out)

GREAT get-right half of hoops. Yes, its TCU so you gotta take it with a grain of salt, but this is still going to calm a lot of nerves and stabilize belief in what this team is capable of. Now, all gas no breaks, finish this.

Make no mistake it blows that Iowa State has dropped off from 1 seed consideration, and has a lot of work to do if they wanna get back there, but I actually *love* this projected quadrant for ISU. I think this path is actually easy than when ISU was a projected #1 seed 🤷♂️ #BlueCy
