Friday night was one of my favourite @rsno.bsky.social concerts in a while. The first half was a virtuoso performance from Jess Gillam playing the Scottish premiere of Anna Clyne's Glasslands. And then, BOOM! Shostakovich 8 - one of the most incredible, powerful pieces, so apt for today #bravo

No idea if proud dad posts are a thing here but . . . Sam knocked it out the park on drums for Edinburgh School Rock Ensemble at Usher Hall. In 30 years never played to more than 150 people at a time. At 16 Sam's done a gig for 2000
