This is a picture looking south towards the end of College Road, at the top of the hill (left side of picture). All of those villas have now been replaced by blocks of flats. The villas on the road below and to the right, Farquhar Road, have now all been demolished.

So when this story broke this morning, there were no before pictures, so I went on Google Maps and saw the scale of the devastation. Now it's been added to the BBC article.

This wasn't just any explosion. This was what every single employee was trained not to do, ever.
