Had a great #CyberpunkRed #CombatZone event today in York. A four game tournament (won 2, lost 2), an additional casual game afterwards before it was time to catch the train home.
Great missions and format by Cy, wonderful to meet up with friends new and old in a cool venue, Up A Level.

I hate things that start “Without saying X” (usually D&D). It’s like “Why the fuck would I say The Matrix? Or D&D? Have you only seen one Keanu film, or played one game?”

I normally work from home, so today was probably my last day working at the Lenton Business Centre in Nottingham, which is due to close soon. I had some fun times here pre-Covid working at Warlord, and its been nice to be back there more recently. (1/2)

My modest haul from #Dragonmeet. Excited to get the new ‘RuneQuest Classics’ Sun County book, which MOB was kind enough to sign for me. Both the other games were a bit if a surprise, but I am curious to try Strider Mode for The One Ring and I hear a lot of good things about Salvage Union.

The Ambassador-class, such as the Enterprise C from Star Trek TNG. It’s that same classic shape but the proportions and style are just perfect. Also, the Constellation class (e.g. Stargazer and Hathaway) with the four nacelles and the kinda-boxy saucer shape. It shouldn’t look god, but it just does.

I had my first campaign game of Cyberpunk Red Combat Zone on Thursday night at tabletopevents.co.uk in Belper. So much fun, despite a resounding loss, and plenty of lessons learned. Thanks to ‘Hivescum’ Steve for a great game.
