Something to be said about wanting to have our club be successful on the pitch but not daring to stick through a patch of wild inconsistency because we somehow think we deserve everything to work with immediacy.
If Ange stops believing then the players do and then it’s done.

Arguing the toss over on X and in WhatsApp groups with those that want Ange gone. I really should refrain. The whole issue around a “rebuild” is the lack of immediacy and need for patience. This is also valid.

Ben Davies deserves to go down as an absolute Spurs legend. Changed systems, managers and positions and rarely let us down. He’s deserving of his flowers in the Spurs PL era more than many good players who flamed out after a decent season or two.

Can’t underestimate what that must mean for Postecoglou. He was at Brisbane Roar when Guardiola’s Barca were winning everything. Then Australia, Japan, Celtic. Finally the Prem & #thfc at 59. To beat Guardiola like that, playing the way he thinks it should be played, must be pretty seismic for him.
