This is my great grandfather, Charles Bruno Jansson, born 1871, in Russia , died age 35 in 1907, in Seattle. He was the 11th member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He owned a saloon in Pioneer Square, Seattle, which was used as the 1st meeting place for the Eagles. He was the first member to die.

I almost lost my house in a wildfire 10 years ago. The pictures from LA stoke visceral fear in my heart for all of the people, their pets and their lovely homes.
