Calling criticism “TDS” is how adults avoid acting like adults. My latest piece is an indictment of trump’s enablers and the damage they’re doing.

Our child was born six months later, and he wasn't eligible to be vaccinated until mid-2022.

Emerging data continued to demonstrate that letting him get sick was gambling with possibilities like type 1 diabetes, myocardial inflammation (100x more common than vaccine injury), and long covid.

our son was born that november. we never trusted the hype that kids were largely immune to COVID. so much was still unknown—but emerging data were hardly cause for comfort. there was never a question of letting down our guard—surely not until vaccines were available.

I just had BBQ Lay's and thought they tasted different, MUCH better, and sure enough they had a major recipe change in all the Lay's chip flavors just this past month.

Just recently found out that if you donate $1 to the food bank, they can buy $6 worth of groceries with it. In case anyone was planning on donating food to them, giving money goes a lot farther!

"Federal agents fired a pepper round that struck the pastor of the College Heights United Church of Christ. The impact caked his face in orange powder...

“I’m in a lot of pain,” the pastor texted from the emergency room, “He clearly was aiming for the face.”

My dream as an author was to have my book sitting on a shelf in a local library.

Acton Public Library in Acton, Maine, made that dream come true. The librarian emailed to tell me it's in circulation.

Kristi Noem, the homeland security secretary, bungled answers on Tuesday about habeas corpus, incorrectly saying that the legal right of people to challenge their detention by the government was actually the president’s “constitutional right” to deport people.

“Habeas corpus is the legal principle that requires the government to provide a public reason for detaining and imprisoning people. If not for that protection, the government could simply arrest people, including American citizens, and hold them indefinitely for no reason.”
Does Kristi Noem even know what habeas corpus is?
The Homeland Security secretary's word salad raised even more questions about the administration's assault on fundamental rights.
