There's also seemingly no acknowledgement of a massive right-wing propaganda machine stirring this sentiment up. Where it does exist it's largely a manufactured, tribal outrage, it's not actually regular people getting so offended they go fash over this stuff. That's important.

I love when someone just fully commits to a color. Like the green lady of New York. Or this lady in my area who dresses completely in purple. If I make it to 50 I think that's what I will do for my mid-life crisis.

It turns out God was never an old white guy judging me from a cloud, deciding if the endurance of my suffering would deem me worthy of love. It’s knowing that no matter if I fall, the universe will catch me: wholly as I am.

It’s easier for me to understand how decent people voted for Trump when I remember they’ve been trained by their churches to hold cognitive dissonance as “faith.”
