My dog has one super power "cute" and one irresistible hook in me "Hey! Look at me- you should feel sad." In fact its the cuteness factor and "begging" of certain dogs that led to their domestication. If you're an animal and humans are around being "cute" offers a much better chance of survival.

I am a serious student of U.S. history. I personally witnessed how nice polite whites treated and spoke about black Americans as a kid in the late 1950s. I went to an integrated school before the 1965 Civil Rights bill. In one long word, the racist myths, lies, cruelty were un-fucking-believable.
