This pull quote is too click baity for me, I was very sceptical found the original research:https://www.artificialintelligence-news.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/ai_report_2025.pdf and read the article - and both are good and a lot more nuanced than the quote implies 🫠

Just want to point out you're not contradicting each other - we would have been technologically fine, and advancements came after the burst - the article in the post predicts the same - we would be technologically fine if the AI bubble didn't happen, and advancements will likely come after

1. Tap-to-start focus session with preset duration
2. Time spent in focus Vs other apps last 7 days

Anything that supports and reminds us of the often forgotten idea to 'ask the people with the problem' is an easy click from me 🙌

Aye but what if there are bits you want to improve? Or bits that could be improved but you don't know about it yet?

Ghoulish is a great word for it - the unkindness, disrespectfulness, and arrogance that it implies is very troubling 😕

Amusing, but surely not true? How else are you getting feedback?

Well yes of course? How else would one release a paperback back into the wilds? It's always hard the first time, I still remember my paper cuts - but it's the humane thing to do 😔

Stop reading, put it down, if you can identify specifically why you truly hate it, maybe do a simple review for other readers but that's kind to the author, and/or otherwise sell it or donate it or give it away - other people will surely love it, let it back into the world to find it's person 🙌

I can never recommend Ursula K. Le Guin enough in general, I think her short stories are often overlooked: www.ursulakleguin.com/novels-and-c... and I did love the 'Legends' anthology with Anne McCaffrey, Steven King, and Raymond E 🙏

I don't know Money for Nothing but the last 8 seconds of the WBN finale are the best 'podcast cut to black' I've ever experienced - the sheer relief and release of it all but also anticipation of the usual outro that doesn't come ... Oof 🫠 truly orgasmic ❤️

I'd hypothesise it's about focus - a lack of distraction you get from cities coupled with a much needed dose of poignant humble pie seeing how big and incredible nature is

Why can't people see 1. That's obviously nonsense, 2. That's only exciting for him and people like him, and 3. It would be way better to aim for the headline 'in 10 years time all college graduates will be able to work a super well paid job they want to do' 😔

Neat website and some really great research referenced 🎉 but the images are cramped from poor padding and the content is way too long without food sign posting - most people will bounce 🏀 Try fixing the padding and create more of a visual hierarchy - great research should have great web design 🎨
