I'm sure Sonoma County Transit is a great system but I just needed it to check a box. Took this one stop, got off at B St & 7th St, and then hustled back to SMART for the 2:32 train back to Larkspur.

Santa Rosa CityBus took me one stop from near SMART to the Transit Mall.
New standardized signage in effect here that might eventually get put in place all over the Bay Area. Not sure I like the de-emphasis of the agency identity here but I generally think this is a good direction to go.

This was rough. Waited eight mins for a Petaluma Transit route 11 bus that didn't exist, then executed plan B with the route 10. Rode one stop and walked back to SMART.
Operator had put up the wrong route info on the destination sign but I just asked him what his next stop was - all good.

Second of two awfully close transfers is done! Boarded SMART a minute late and I'll take it to Petaluma 🚃

Witnessed an absurdly low Clipper usage rate on the GGT bus but there was just enough time to jaywalk across the San Rafael Transit Center to the Marin Transit route 49. Taking it one SMART stop up the road

On Golden Gate Transit for the next hour. As I lounge in the comfy seats and charge my phone with the outlets, I'll be preoccupied with hoping it stays on time or early. Once I offboard in San Rafael I plan to catch the last five agencies in two hours.

samTrans ECR is running early and thus taking a schedule-alignment break. It's almost a frequent enough service to not warrant this, but I guess it's ok.

Electric Caltrain (rah rah) from Cal Ave to Millbrae
Think I'm transferring to BART? Think again.

I was planning to take the 89 just from Page Mill & El Camino Real to the Cal Ave Caltrain station. I'm walking instead and still catching the same train I would have.

Dumbarton Express is a bit of a consortium so doesn't count as its own agency but is sort of an extra credit situation for Total Transit challenges. Riding the DB1 from Union City to Palo Alto

Cheeky 2-minute ride on an Orion bus with Union City Transit. There is a lot of loud beeping.
Both the printed maps at the station and the Google map were wrong about the bus stop location 👍

Also spotted the U with a nice new bus.

Taking the ACE train to Fremont. About 10 mins late but they had a detailed explanation on the PA as to why.
They are using Bombardier bi-level (?) cars but they seem way nicer than Caltrain's.
Niles Canyon is a pretty segment but less so when it's still dark.

I don't think I've ridden an Anh Phoong bus yet, which is surprising. Making that right with the Tri Valley Wheels 10R, which I'm riding to downtown Pleasanton. Following that is a few blocks' walk to the ACE station. (Reverse commuted early so I can forward commute)

Faster paced day today.

A late evening San Joaquins, which started its trip in Bakersfield, will take us back from Richmond to Oakland. I forgot to buy a ticket until the scheduled depart time so I'm hoping to buy one from the conductor. Also possible they just don't check
