Older technologies have aided and perhaps enfeebled writers. “But with A.I. we’re so thoroughly able to outsource our thinking that it makes us more average, too,” Kyle Chayka writes.

Trump’s Tax Scam now heads back to the House, where Republicans can only afford to lose 3 votes. The bill barely squeaked by with a single-vote margin the first time, and it’s only gotten more divisive since.

Anyone who tells you this is a done deal doesn’t know what the hell they’re talking about.
Trump’s Big Ugly Bill has passed the Senate. We can still defeat it in the House.

With the barrage of information assaulting our attention, slowing down & taking the time to, you know, actually think about things is almost a radical act. This reflection becomes the base for sustainable action.
TUESDAY: REFLECT
Read over what you wrote yesterday. What does it say about your values? About your energy? What do you find yourself wishing for? Angry about? Imagining? See if you can pull all of that together into a couple statements.

🧵 The dog days of summer may be unavoidable. Dog books?

For some readers, they're getting harder to find.

Turns out the book banners who told you their only concern was "pornography" are also trying to restrict many students' right to read about... dogs.
