That's utterly disgusting to say that

I keep saying it but Labour need to stop obsessing over Reform voters and start worrying over the Liberal leavers joining and voting for the Greens. Sigh.

There is no cure for their poison except to challenge its assumptions. Nothing is gained by pretending to agree with it, or mollifying it.

I keep saying it but the polls speak for themselves, you are not going to win back Reform voters but you are going to lose Left votes to the Greens. Wake up no Labour voter wants this.

Would have helped to include the FT link in the above post really wouldn't it! www.ft.com/content/1144... there you go.
Labour needs a way out of the infernal circle of immigration policy
Politics today is about ‘open vs closed’, but the UK government’s approach risks appeasing no one

That white paper is disgraceful honestly I cannot believe it was penned by a Labour home secretary, I cannot believe where we are right now its dizzyingly awful. The FT have a fab article about Labour being stuck in an immigration policy doom loop - worth reading if you get a chance.

There is nothing of merit in this white paper, its a mess of unachievable policies and nonsense with an deeply disturbing underlying message of otherism and cruelty - its utterly disgraceful, of all the parties to throw such blatant red meat to the right wing I never thought it would be Labour.
