for people worried about jumping on the frame train considering any growing pains it might have right off the bat, i could see someone instead buying a steam machine and building a little vr backpack to more or less make the index "wireless", would love to see if someone does!

599-699 would make it more competitive with the quest 3 but i also think that's just a lil too cheap for what it is and would devalue the index quite a bit which is still a pretty good option if you don't mind fiddling with the cables and the base stations

they could drop the index kit and continue to just sell the parts piecemeal til stock is gone and then they could really just do whatever with pricing i guess? and with that i could see the frame kit being 799-899, unless they've done some black magic and can price it cheaper

not that i get simulation sickness but the fact that 90hz is as high as many manufacturers seem to want to go is a little disappointing especially since that's choppy as hell compared to 144

also if anyone reimplements the original game's reverb i will actually send you like $50, the title screen alone lacking it is an actual crime but it contributes to so much atmosphere in certain areas that it's kinda baffling that it was never fixed in hd

many of the changes with final mix are obviously a plus (no right stick camera control already makes the original just a worse game) but i think many of the changes are subjective or even feel kinda arbitrary so to be able to customize what has been changed would be neat!
