His enemies presume he’s anti-capitalist because he calls himself a democratic socialist but it seems to me that he wants capitalism to work for people, not against them, which is the case right now for too many people.

Put another way, every crime this woman commits makes her more dangerous—not less. Every crime Pete commits makes him more dangerous—not less. So as much as we can say that these are criminals who in a healthy democracy would be incarcerated, in the world we live in they're more dangerous than ever.

That said, Noem and Hegseth are well aware that they're above the law—and that Trump would pardon them for any crimes. So the fact that they've committed crimes and deem themselves above the law *because of Trump* only ties them *closer* to Trump and makes them *more* willing to do whatever he says.
