He evidently was diagnosed with a-fib & had a pacemaker/ICD implanted after his stroke. I did a little on-line research after another poster suggested he was shocked by his ICD after it detected a shockable rhythm. This seems likely.

I’d rather not have an ATC come to work if his head isn’t in the right place. My employer might require a doctor’s note before I return to work after a certain number of sick days. Otherwise, it’s none of my employer’s business.
