I ended up liking Ahsoka more than most, but Andor is a legitimate masterpiece of camera work and storytelling.

I can't imagine it ever being topped as far as Star Wars media is concerned. At least not in its current environment.

I adore Hera. She was a character I went into Rebels not really caring about and coming out of Rebels, she's probably my favorite Star Wars character.

Like I said, I like her as part of the crew. Her character just feels a lot more weak whenever we see her confronting any aspect of her life outside of the rebellion.

But Filloni has had a hard time selling me on any Mandalorian stuff since Clone Wars, so I'm definitely a little bias.

In the original concept for Rebels, Sabine and Hera's ages were essentially swapped. Her back story makes a lot more sense if she is in her mid to late 20's, but changing her age without removing a few of those things from her background just makes her come across as someone's poorly written OC.

Why is giving her a very weak connection to the force going a bridge too far? They make it very clear that she isn't a particularly gifted force user.

I don't know. I've always operated under the belief that ANYONE could use the force with enough training, they just wouldn't be as strong with it.

You are already supposed to accept the fact that she is a Mandalorian princess who abandoned her people in order to graduate with honors from the Imperial academy after designing a weapon of mass destruction all before spending a few years as a bounty hunter by the age of 16...
