Third(?) Thanksgiving in a row using the Chefsteps recipe for sous vide turkey, specifically an improved version of the timing they credit to Nicholas Gavin. I didn't have any sage this year, so this was just bird + salt and sugar, seared at the beginning and the end in sunflower oil.

Learned about this yesterday thanks to people posting about it here. Infuriating. Followed @malwarebytes.com instructions for turning it off and then had to immediately disable all Gmail notifications on my phone so it wouldn't give me a new alert for every pointless mailer-list sales promotion.
The fuck you mean Gmail now automatically forces AI features, which scan all your content in your inbox and if you disable it, the autocorrect will stop working and you can no longer categorize your email????
