Writer, director, actor in Seattle, WA. Wondering if it’s all a simulation.

My optimistic and unfounded belief in humanity says yes. What I actually see, when analyzed realistically says…maybe? I do believe that positivity and human compassion ultimately prevail over oppression. But “ultimately” might not mean in my lifetime. I certainly hope optimism wins the day.

Excellent demonstration of the premier coping mechanism for stress induced by late-stage capitalism and political upheaval: Live tweeting (or whatever it’s called on #bluesky) #antiquesroadshow

#writerscoffeeclub I’d agree with your assessment. The draft of my first novel which was a personal story that had been bouncing around in my head for years came relatively easily. Current WIP, a sprawling Sci-fi epic that explores “what if humans could do basically anything” is taking a lot longer.

Nice, it is also intriguing! Elements of Hitchhiker’s Guide (less absurd), maybe a little Starship Troopers thrown in?

I haven’t read the “good” description, but I doubt it could make me want to read it any more than this one does! Sounds intriguing!
