Any writers using Scrivener for novel writing, what do you think of it? I downloaded the 30-day trial and like it so far, but I literally got it yesterday, so haven’t played with it that much yet. Any advice/pros/cons appreciated! #indieauthorlife 🖋️📕💰

PEOPLE! The whole “Trump wants a third term” thing is a distraction. He may want it, sure. But what’s important now is holding his administration accountable for the dangerous incompetence they’ve exhibited via things like #SignalGate and the #DOGE slash and burn debacles.

Haven’t found time for writing lately. I believe in sticking to a daily writing schedule, but once you’re out of the habit, it’s hard to get back in.

For anyone feeling this, here’s what I tell myself: I will write regularly again, it’s in my soul. But it’s ok that I’m not doing it right now.

Hey, #maga, just so you know:
• We’re not crying
• We’re not scared of you
• We’re angry, fired up, and committed.

You will lose.

Got one of those political texts asking “How would you grade Trump’s first 100 days?” Well, it’s actually only been like 18 days, but I can confidently say that even after the next 82 days, I’m sure he’ll get a solid “F” for Fascism.

Last night I had a dream that I summoned several different versions of myself either from the future, or parallel realities, I’m not sure which, to help me with something. I think subconscious me is on to something. #scifiwriting

This is great advice on how to recognize and avoid falling into a trap a lot of us fall into when telling our stories.
One of the biggest issues I see as an editor is writers who rely too much on implicit conflict

This can rob their stories of tension and momentum and leave their readers frustrated. So, let's take a look at what it is, why it's a problem, and what to do about it!

Fact: No one should ever make fun of the autistic kid in school trying to learn, or the autistic adult just trying to live their life.

BUT, we should ABSOLUTELY DEMOLISH the billionaire who hides behind supposed autism when throwing N*zi salutes to the world.

Hey #indieauthors! I’m excited to connect with you all! I just completed a draft of my first novel, and am looking for advice and inspiration to navigate editing and publishing (traditional or self.) I’m also available for pep talks when you’re struggling with your own writing demons! 🖋️📖💰

Canceled flight, 7+ hours in a small regional airport. Annoying? Yes. More time to read? Also yes! (Currently reading The Wheel of Time #5, The Fires of Heaven) #reading

The same thing that feeds art, experience, also expands empathy. Perhaps one solution to the growing division and othering in America could be undeniable, un-ignorable art. TL/DR: Make more in-your-face art. #ramblings

Pepitas is a funny word. Sounds like what a little kid calls their grandpa.
