P.S. It would have been 100%, but I keep half of the battery in reserve for outages.

My home was 97% powered by solar or stored solar energy, including topping off the BEV. That BEV took me to/from work on the beautiful 'country roads' of West Virginia with the efficiency equivalent of 168 MPG. I dropped off some recycling on the way home. A clean, green, spring Earth Day!

I really enjoyed the TV series, but they always have to pick and choose from the books, eliminate, combine, plus it was truncated. The books take the story further and have a bit more complexity IMO. If you liked the series, you'll love the books! The audiobooks were well done if you go that route.

For fantasy, I enjoyed the Shadows of the Apt series from Adrian Tchaikovsky who also has a ton of other good fantasy and sci fi stuff, but not quite as long as the Apt books. For sci fi, I really enjoyed The Expanse series of books by James S.A. Corey.

You look sketchy. You shall not pass.

It's her markings. She's always had that expression, but don't let it fool you! Loki and her sister, Tikka, run the place as spoiled kitties. They are rescue sisters that we adopted almost 10 years ago. Here's the normal situation.

Her facial markings make you think that, but she's the most spoiled rotten thing you've ever seen. Her sister too.

👍 Loki poses like she's a monarch in a painting sometimes.

Two are definitely better!

Energy storage was only running for the last four months of 2024, but I was self powered most of the time. I keep at least 50% of the battery in reserve in case of outages, so half the battery wasn't available to power daily house loads. I'll be interested to see a full year in 2025!
