Here’s the other one. The key fact is, if you move one point of a triangle parallel to its opposite side, the area doesn’t change. So the triangle transforms twice to be half the medium square, that is ten (since the medium square is four small squares).

Mid second play of Flamecraft. Loving this game - simple to learn, plenty of depth, only positive and constructive interactions, and just absurdly cute.

The Car Wars 6e box came with a couple of hundred build cards and a dozen cars, and so my all-the-extras collection was spread over a wide area. A 3d printer and thirty or forty hours of design and print later, it's all in the core box. Satisfying.

Playing my first game of Battletech in at least 30 years and possibly ever (I played enough games as a teen to not be sure), against myself. All heavies, and I haven't rolled a single crit, which is making it slow.
